Auchentoshan distillery is a Single Malt whisky distillery in the west of Scotland. The name Auchentoshan is from Gaelic Achadh an Oisein and translates as “corner of the field”. The distillery is also known as “Glasgow’s Malt Whisky” due to its close proximity to Glasgow and “the breakfast whisky” due to its sweet and delicate nature. Auchentoshan is located at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills on the outskirts of Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire near the Erskine Bridge.

Owner: Morrison Bowmore Distillers

Founded: 1823

Every last drop of every whisky we make is triple distilled.

AMERICAN OAK:
Triple distilled and matured solely in American bourbon casks. The result: a Lowland Single Malt Whisky with the sweet aromas of vanilla and coconut – along with the signature smooth, delicate, Auchentoshan taste.

How we make It:

  1. WE MAKE A BEER: At its purest, whisky is beer distilled
  2. WE TRIPLE DISTIL IT: We’re the only Scottish Single Malt to insist on it for every last drop
  3. WE WAIT: We add our not-so-secret final ingredient: time

Auchentoshan & Ale:
Whisky and ale have long been firm friends. The ‘hauf an’ a hauf’ (a whisky & ale chaser) is an old Scottish favorite.

Our sweet aroma of citrus zest and bold nuttiness pairs perfectly with the crispness of chilled beer.

This combo of flavors provides you with an unexpectedly refreshing drink. Try it with your favorite beer. Sun’s out somewhere.
